In ancient Egyptian mythology, a dead person's soul would be weighed against the feather of truth in a ritual called a psychostasy. If their soul was lighter than the feather, it would ascend into the afterlife. Heavy souls were devoured by Maat, eater of the dead. Good films go to hard drive heaven while the recycle bin eats the rest.

Starman (1984)
A science fiction drama directed by John Carpenter.
An alien's ship crashes on earth and he takes the form of the dead husband of a woman. They travel across the country so that he can go back to his planet. On the way, they are chased by the government.
The characters were dynamic and the plot was interesting. The best part was the alien not knowing about earth and acting weird. Style was still intact when this film was made, as well as pacing. I'm rating it good.
