Resident Evil series (2002 - 2010)

A horror by Paul W. S. Anderson, starring Milla Jovovich.
A virus that was created by the umbrella corporation (pun may have been intended) turns people into zombies and a small group of still-human survivors fights their way through swarms of the undead.
The titles of the films (besides the original) are: Apocalypse, Extinction and Afterlife. I'm not including the 2008 Degeneration film in this review because it was so different (CG and terrible) from the others. The camera-work in the live action films seemed to be sponsored by Adderall XR, as a single minute of fight scene ended up in 10+ separate shots. The characters were extremely static and the plots very predictable. There were some cool monsters though. The regular zombies must not have been enough, because in each film there was a "super zombie" or a zombie-monster of some type. I'm rating these films o.k. because there was some superficial entertainment value, but that was all.
