In ancient Egyptian mythology, a dead person's soul would be weighed against the feather of truth in a ritual called a psychostasy. If their soul was lighter than the feather, it would ascend into the afterlife. Heavy souls were devoured by Maat, eater of the dead. Good films go to hard drive heaven while the recycle bin eats the rest.

The Hills Have Eyes (2006 2007)
A horror by Wes Craven and Alexandre Aja.
A group of people gets stuck in a mountainous desert infested with mutants.
These are the latest renditions of the Hills Have Eyes series. I may watch the older ones and review them later. These were mediocre at best. It was a gore-fest, but that doesn't impress me these days. I would have liked dynamic characters and an unpredictable plot a lot more. The style was decent. It conveyed that "alone in the desert and nobody's coming to help" vibe very well. Dare I compare 127 hours? Anyway, I'm rating this poor because I'm a hard-ass like that.
