In ancient Egyptian mythology, a dead person's soul would be weighed against the feather of truth in a ritual called a psychostasy. If their soul was lighter than the feather, it would ascend into the afterlife. Heavy souls were devoured by Maat, eater of the dead. Good films go to hard drive heaven while the recycle bin eats the rest.

Haxan (1922)
A documentary by Benjamin Christensen.
Witchcraft and satanism are explained in the form of a silent film.
This is my 666th post, so I figured I would review something dark and halloweeny. I liked the examples of witchcraft that were shown, as witches throw buckets of urine on their enemies' door and have a black mass, complete with kissing the ass of Satan. The black mass is really the best part of the film and a little bit after that, nuns are shown being led astray by the devil (funny scene). I'm rating this awesome for that lo-fi black metal vibe.
