In ancient Egyptian mythology, a dead person's soul would be weighed against the feather of truth in a ritual called a psychostasy. If their soul was lighter than the feather, it would ascend into the afterlife. Heavy souls were devoured by Maat, eater of the dead. Good films go to hard drive heaven while the recycle bin eats the rest.

The Hills Have Eyes series (1977, 1985, 1995)
A horror by Wes and Jonathan Craven.
People are stuck in the desert among mutant cannibals.
The first 2 films were understandably part of the series, but the 3rd was totally unrelated. It was called Mind Ripper and took place in the same location, but was about a genetically modified man who ate brains. I hope that it was Jonathan Craven's only attempt at cinema. Comparing this series to the new set, the first films were very similar. After that, the continuity got lost in the newer ones while it remained in the old set. I'm rating this poor.
