In ancient Egyptian mythology, a dead person's soul would be weighed against the feather of truth in a ritual called a psychostasy. If their soul was lighter than the feather, it would ascend into the afterlife. Heavy souls were devoured by Maat, eater of the dead. Good films go to hard drive heaven while the recycle bin eats the rest.

The Promise (2005)
A wuxia by Chen Kaige.
A little girl lies to a boy to get her food back. When she runs away, a flying woman tells her fortune. Much later, the girl has grown up and is a queen. A famous general tells his new slave to go to the palace and save the king. The slave instead saves the queen and she falls in love with him, but thinks that he is dead when he jumps off a cliff to save her.
This is very similar to Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, House of Flying Daggers and Hero. Everything is pretty, the sets are gigantic and almost everyone can fly. Wuxia is a Chinese term for fantasy/swordplay films and the newer ones are AWESOME. They have good characters, good plots (with twists) and everything looks really good. Some even have traditional Chinese music in the soundtrack. I've got to say that this is one of my favorite types of films. I'm rating this awesome.
