In ancient Egyptian mythology, a dead person's soul would be weighed against the feather of truth in a ritual called a psychostasy. If their soul was lighter than the feather, it would ascend into the afterlife. Heavy souls were devoured by Maat, eater of the dead. Good films go to hard drive heaven while the recycle bin eats the rest.

Around the Fire (1998)
A drama directed by John Jacobson.
A young man is put in rehab for possession of LSD. While he is there, he has flashbacks of his life prior to that.
Is it really that hard to make a good drug movie? I keep seeing these flop-flicks that fall ever shorter of that goal. Another Day in Paradise could have been great, but they decided to use some stupid color scheme and focus on people getting shot. This could have been good, but they played the "confrontations with authority figures" thing too much. I'm rating this bad because they did a shit job. If you want to see a real "dope" film, watch Sid and Nancy.
