Conan the Barbarian (1982)

A fantasy adventure directed by John Milius, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
A boy's village is destroyed by a snake cult and he is taken as a prisoner and trained to be a pit fighter. When he gains his freedom, he seeks revenge on the cult.
As much of a classic '80s film as this is, you really haven't appreciated it until you've heard it with commentary by Arnold himself. Try to imagine his voice here..."Do you remember when we were filming that scene?... That was so funny!". Obviously, I recommend getting the DVD with commentary if you want to experience the full '80s-ness of this film. I'm rating it good. The only thing better is "to crush your enemies, see them driven before you and hear the lamentations of their women".
