In ancient Egyptian mythology, a dead person's soul would be weighed against the feather of truth in a ritual called a psychostasy. If their soul was lighter than the feather, it would ascend into the afterlife. Heavy souls were devoured by Maat, eater of the dead. Good films go to hard drive heaven while the recycle bin eats the rest.

The Hidden Fortress (1958)
An adventure directed by Akira Kurosawa, starring Toshiro Mifune.
2 peasants are on their way back from a war when they find gold in a stick. Suddenly a man appears, claiming to be Rokurota Makabe, a famous general. The peasants agree to travel with him and help him find the rest of the gold. While they are looking for the gold, a woman shows up who they think is the princess. The group all head out together (with the gold that was hidden in plain view) and run into various troubles on their way home.
The plot twists in this film lead the viewer to question what will happen next and the characters are good. The main characters (the 2 peasants) are actually the comic relief. The scenes of people running and hiding from gunfire were a little fake, but what do you expect in 1958? Overall, I thought it was good, so that is how I will rate it.
