Body Bags (1993)

An American horror directed by John Carpenter and Tobe Hooper.
A comical mortician relates 3 stories about death. A gas station attendant has a rough night, a man has issues with hair restoration and a baseball player loses his eye.
This was actually not too bad. Why it was listed in Wes Craven's filmography is a mystery though. The plots were simple and to the point, with fast pacing to get their stories in. The duration was like episodes of The Twilight Zone, but with a much darker, graphic and more violent style. The camera-work all looked good. There were some nice shots that got held for a little while to let them sink in as well as faster cuts and some movement. Overall, pretty decent. I rate this adequate.

Poltergeist series (1982, 1986 & 1988)

A horror directed by Tobe Hooper, Steven Spielberg, Brian Gibson and Gary Sherman, starring Heather O'Rourke and Zelda Rubinstein.
A girl's family is cursed and followed by the ghost of a dead preacher and his congregation. They call a spiritual woman to help them fight the evil ghosts.
The first film is a classic. 1982 was a good year for media and the magic style of that time period is imbued in the film. The special effects were spooky and the timing was great. The sequels are a bit cheesy, but not too shabby. Carol Anne's character is extremely static, always playing the helpless victim. In fact, all the characters are as static as the TV show that lets the ghosts out in the first film. The plot is interesting and there is a great deal of entertainment value. I'm rating it adequate. The first film would have gotten awesome on it's own, but this is a series and the sequels dragged the rating down.

The Apartment Complex (1999)

A mystery directed by Tobe Hooper.
A new building manager moves into his apartment complex and when he drags the old manager out of the pool, he becomes the only suspect in a murder case.
The plot was effing twisted. The setting and style were crazy too. It didn't matter that most of the characters were extras, this fucking ruled anyway. If you like good movies, you'll like this as much as I did. I'm rating it awesome. Unfortunately, I can't find a picture for it.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)

A slasher directed by Tobe Hooper.
A group of friends in a van drive into a town dominated by a family of murderers.
The audio was really annoying and the video was very dark.
check out: Is Sally going to use that dirty knife to cut her food with?
Well, most of the screen was black and almost everything I heard was screams. Watch it if you must, but it's not worth your time.
