An American comedic mystery directed by Bernard Carr.
A group of children witness important events involved in a murder and are asked to testify in court.
The audio was poor quality and difficult to hear, just like the video was poor quality and difficult to see. The characters were EXTREMELY annoying and the plot got obfuscated by humor that didn't make me laugh. I thought the non-white children were quite funny though and a monkey putting on the clothes of one of them caught my attention. I'm not saying that I'm racist, just pointing out that the humor in the film was. Darkie jokes aside, this is not a good film and I would advise against watching it. I rate it bad.
In ancient Egyptian mythology, a dead person's soul would be weighed against the feather of truth in a ritual called a psychostasy. If their soul was lighter than the feather, it would ascend into the afterlife. Heavy souls were devoured by Maat, eater of the dead. Good films go to hard drive heaven while the recycle bin eats the rest.

Mystery Liner (1934)
An American murder mystery directed by William Nigh.
A murder happens on a boat and those on the boat try to figure out "who done it".
The only thing that really stood out in this film was Granny Plimpton's alcoholism. The old girl was always about to have a drink, wanting a drink or trying to open a bottle. The other thing was the text on the communications screens. It was clearly added after the fact, with actors staring at a blank screen and acting like there was something on it. Otherwise the movie was a waste. At an hour and 2 minutes, at least it didn't waste too much of my time. I'm rating it poor.

the abomnable dr. phibes (1971)

a murder mystery starring vincent price
a man sets out to murder the doctors that failed his wife's surgery by way of the 7 plagues from the old testament.
the audio and video were o.k.
check out: the way phibes plays the organ. he makes it very clear that he is not the one playing it.
it's oldschool and it sucked. I got way bored watching it.
