A German American action romance directed by Jack Arnold.
A supposedly secure Swiss bank is robbed and account holders are killed. The bank hires an American former treasury official to find who is disrupting business. While involved in this investigation, he falls in love with a woman.
Everything was mediocre, '70s and boring. The editing was a little sloppy, video grainy and audio had clarity problems. The characters were easy to identify, but the plot almost put me to sleep. This is just another crappy movie that I had to sort through in search of diamonds in the rough. I rate it poor.
In ancient Egyptian mythology, a dead person's soul would be weighed against the feather of truth in a ritual called a psychostasy. If their soul was lighter than the feather, it would ascend into the afterlife. Heavy souls were devoured by Maat, eater of the dead. Good films go to hard drive heaven while the recycle bin eats the rest.

Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954)

An American horror directed by Jack Arnold.
One scientist finds a fossilized claw in the Amazon rainforest. He brings it back to the center of operations and gets other scientists to go with him in search of more information on the same creature. It turns out to be a semi-aquatic, violent humanoid and there is disagreement over whether to escape or try to get information when some of the crew are killed by it.
The plot is very simple and the characters are superficial. Basically, it's a simple movie to present the Gill-man monster. It wasn't poorly made, but it was very predictable and lame. I'm rating it poor.
