In ancient Egyptian mythology, a dead person's soul would be weighed against the feather of truth in a ritual called a psychostasy. If their soul was lighter than the feather, it would ascend into the afterlife. Heavy souls were devoured by Maat, eater of the dead. Good films go to hard drive heaven while the recycle bin eats the rest.

The Seventh Sign (1988)
A thriller directed by Carl Schultz, starring Demi Moore.
Signs of the apocalypse begin to happen and a pregnant woman has a strange man move in above her garage.
The style was actually not bad. The characters were stereotypical though and I have specific questions about the plot. In the film, we find that the Guf (where babies' souls come from) is empty. The woman gives her life to save her child and everyone acts like everything's going to be cool. My question is did she refill that empty Guf that started all of this? Maybe they just didn't explain it well enough. I'm rating this o.k. If you're into shred metal, check out the Yngwie Malmsteen album by the same name.
