In ancient Egyptian mythology, a dead person's soul would be weighed against the feather of truth in a ritual called a psychostasy. If their soul was lighter than the feather, it would ascend into the afterlife. Heavy souls were devoured by Maat, eater of the dead. Good films go to hard drive heaven while the recycle bin eats the rest.

Hackers (1995)
A drama directed by Iain Softley, starring Angelina Jolie.
A group of computer hackers learn of a secret government plan and have to expose it before the government catches them.
Due to advances in technology, most of the plot seems pretty silly these days. Hence, the characters sound stupid: "A virus AND a worm?". Some of the "inside the computer/internet" scenes are way too advanced for computers of that time, leading me to believe that the characters have dyslexia, which would explain the psychedelic movements of things that I know would look like DOS. I gather that this film was supposed to be popular with young people of the time period, as it was clearly made with a very narrow target audience in mind. It's not even all that interesting, so I rate it poor.

"The Young People of the time Period"... you mean people your parents age right? I'm not being aggressive nor nasty by the way, just checking. Your review is spot on, the scenes are strange at times, however, they were in keeping with other "Hacker-esq" scenes in the film world at the time... who could forget the classic line "It's a Unix system... I know this..." from Jurassic Park... or just the mad hacking scenes in Battle Royale... stand the "hacking" scenes from Hackers itself against those much more critically acclaimed peers and you'll see... its not so bar and in keeping with the era.
