The No Mercy Man (1973)

An American action film directed by Daniel Vance.
A gang of thugs from a carnival are causing trouble in a small town. A Vietnam veteran has just returned from the war with deep mental scars. Conflict ensues.
I liked the folk song in the intro and ending: "love and lust are the same to him like being raped by the devil" "wave your medals in the wind before a plastic crowd" such powerful lyrics! In the first bar scene, a dork enters the bar full of hooligans and I thought this was very well done and showed some good contrast. The ending was extremely violent and this action escalated when the veteran decided to join the fight. Everything else was mediocre, lackluster and generic. Overall, it's a standard '70s flick with some good parts. I rate it o.k.
