The American Friend (1977)

A mystery directed by Wim Wenders.
A frame shop owner who is terminally ill is persuaded to assassinate 2 men.
The audio was a mix of German and English and subtitles were provided for the German parts. The video was good.
This is one of those films in which all of the characters lie to one another through the whole thing. This makes the plot a little more difficult to follow. I liked the assassination scenes where the target has to be followed or tracked down and an escape has to be made. Overall, it falls exactly in the center of my o.k. range.
