In ancient Egyptian mythology, a dead person's soul would be weighed against the feather of truth in a ritual called a psychostasy. If their soul was lighter than the feather, it would ascend into the afterlife. Heavy souls were devoured by Maat, eater of the dead. Good films go to hard drive heaven while the recycle bin eats the rest.

Requiem for a Dream (2000)
A drama directed by Darren Aronofsky, based on the 1978 book.
A heroine addict always steals his mother's television to buy drugs. The mother gets a junk-mail letter saying that she is invited to be on a TV game show, so she starts taking strong diet pills. The son does well selling drugs for a little while, but then a drug drought occurs. Meanwhile, the mother is going insane from the pills.
The video is very good. The audio is good quality, but the soundtrack is somewhat lacking.
check out: The quick closeup shots.
This has to be the most tragic movie ever made. It was also made very well, earning it a good review for a story that glues you to the seat and memorable characters.
