minority report (2002)

a science fiction thriller directed by steven spielberg
the main character works in a section called pre-crime. they use pre-cogs to predict murders and stop people from killing by arresting the murderers before they attack and giving them a life sentence in suspended animation. the main character eventually finds out that he is going to kill someone and sets out on a quest for knowledge of this future event. while he is chasing down this info, he becomes black-listed by his own department for obvious reasons.
the audio was bad. look in my other posts for a description of "whisper-blast technique". the video was o.k. there were a few entertaining special effects.
there were some moments of suspense, but overall, it was very mediocre. the depiction of their future world was a little interesting. I'm tempted to call this movie bad just for being mediocre, but in all fairness, I don't dislike it enough to do that.
