Days of Wine and Roses (1962)


An AA propaganda film directed by Blake Edwards.
A married couple has alcohol based troubles.
The video was in black and white. I've traced whisper-blast back to 1962 now. There was no loud gunfire or anything like that. It was the volume range of the dialogue that caused this effect.
check out: The couple's daughter is only pictured sleeping, waking up, and getting back to bed.
I didn't like this because I didn't like AA. They over-simplified the concept of addiction and I was expecting to see more drunken debauchery. Don't watch it unless you're in AA and you like being there.
