In ancient Egyptian mythology, a dead person's soul would be weighed against the feather of truth in a ritual called a psychostasy. If their soul was lighter than the feather, it would ascend into the afterlife. Heavy souls were devoured by Maat, eater of the dead. Good films go to hard drive heaven while the recycle bin eats the rest.

Mutiny on the Bounty (1935)
A drama directed by Frank Lloyd.
A cruel captain mistreats his men on a voyage to Tahiti. When the return voyage begins, some of the men rise against the captain and set him afloat in a dingy with a few other men. The mutineers return to Tahiti and the dingy crew make it back to civilization.
This film is black and white and 2 hours long. There is a keelhauling scene and a few floggings. The surgeon is absolutely in love with brandy. In the time that this was made, all of the ropes, sails and sailors' clothing was made of hemp. I'm digressing. This film gets an o.k. rating because it was alright, but a little long.
