In ancient Egyptian mythology, a dead person's soul would be weighed against the feather of truth in a ritual called a psychostasy. If their soul was lighter than the feather, it would ascend into the afterlife. Heavy souls were devoured by Maat, eater of the dead. Good films go to hard drive heaven while the recycle bin eats the rest.

Falling Down (1993)
A drama directed by Joel Schumacher.
A man decides that he will attend his daughter's birthday party by any means necessary and against restraining orders. On his walk to this destination, he must overcome many obstacles. A police officer who is about to retire follows reports to track down the man.
This film has good plot and the characters are well developed. There is enough action to keep even the most adolescent viewers intrigued, and even some comedy. I like the idea of the cop and the criminal having simultaneous revelations about the ways of the world and how society functions (or malfunctions). I'm going to have to rate this good. Thanks, Bill.
