A psychological thriller directed by Alejandro Amenabar.
2 children live with their mother in a large house. The children are not allowed to see daylight and when new servants arrive, they are introduced to procedures that keep light out. The girl sees and talks to ghosts and when the mother notices strange things happening, new facts come to light.
a/v was fine.
This film had great set and setting. It was goth and gloom all the way through. Unfortunately, everything else about it was mediocre. It just barely makes it to o.k. by the setting. Otherwise, I would have to say bad.
