A musical directed by Larry Charles, starring John Goodman, Jeff Bridges, penelope Cruz, Val Kilmer, Mickey Rourke, Cheech Marin and Bob Dylan.
In an apocalyptic future, a country musician goes to play a benefit concert.
There was almost no plot worth mentioning and way too many characters. Wikipedia calls this a "star-heavy cast" and I agree. One of the few redeeming features was Mickey Rourke's speech at the end. I was reminded of a speech he gave on female anatomy in Spun. I'm rating this poor because it was a big hoopla over nothing.
